This past April (while I was deep in prep for Final Exams of my first semester at Smith College ) was the 10 year anniversary of this blog.
My first post was in April of 2009. With little fanfare, I started posting little snippets of what I was grateful for in my life as a way of directing my thoughts and training my mind to look for the silver linings. My newlywed husband was about to leave for a year overseas and I anticipated not wanting to answer well-meaning and depressing questions as to how he and then I were doing.
Since the beginning of this space, we got Thelma (click link for a pic of baby Thelma) who is now eight years old.
I travelled around the world, sometimes with company.
We expanded our family by two amazing daughters.
We sold and bought a house, I had two different art shows and went back to school.
While I have often prioritized other areas of my life over writing in this space, I'm so grateful for each person who reads my posts, and am thankful to have this platform to share my life and work with others.
Thanks for being here!

Thanks so much for sharing what you do, who you are, what you think, how you feel.
It is, you are, wonderful.
