After having my application to have an art show at the River Valley Coop hand-delivered (and helping them discover several other applications lost due to technical issues) I get to have a show of my work for the entire month of June!
It was a bit nerve-wracking to submit the application in the first place back in December. Because it's been two and a half months since then, the anxiousness has worn off.
Now I get to hustle to get everything framed and wired and ready to display!
This will be my first solo show, and the first time I've had my work on display since the student shows while I was taking Ceramics at Manchester Community College, in Connecticut, five years ago.
There will be a reception, coordinated with Northampton Arts Night Out, June 10th from 5–7 pm.
Mark your calendars and see you there!

wow. I did not know you painted as well. I like these. The rocks, and the yellow flowers..( what are they called????) xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are actually Japanese Lanterns. They're all the deep orange color when fully ripe and are related to tomatillos and husk/ground cherries.
DeleteJust want you to know that the live music for your Arts Night Out artist reception on June 10 will be the wonderful Cosby Gibson & Tom Staudle:
