September Recap

-
School is in full swing and the special events, school papers, and calendar pages seem to be fluttering by.

Here are some things that really stood out in September.

SOMEbody turned four and we had a hopping good time at her Frog party. There was even a purple frog with pink polka dots cake, lily pad cheeses and salami slices, origami frogs that really jump.

The girls are getting good enough at biking (A is still trucking along on her balance bike) that I might have to find myself a bike just to keep up!

My first art assignment this semester was a self portrait (it was a quick assignment over the first 1.5 weeks.)

We celebrated HandsomeJoe and my 10th anniversary with a few day trip down to Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium. We haven't been (and we go as a family) in several years and it's a special place to us as the time we visited prior to that was the day before darling A was born.

The highlight of the trip for the girls was repeated visits from Juno the beluga whale, the boat tour of Mystic Seaport, and getting to go down below deck on the big boats.

The highlights of the trip for me was getting to be by the shore, the boats that remind me of summers with my grandparents, a vacation with my darling husband and my two favorite girls.

Top THAT, October! :)
