Creating is my passion, my sanity, my sense of being "up to something", my way of contributing a little bit. I always have a few projects going, many left to the side for months or even years before I pick up the best and carry on. Here's some of what I'm working on this week:

We had a marvelous family meal yesterday, and started helping cut out a path through their massive raspberry patch.

What canes we dug out, we brought home and replanted as soon as we could. We will get stakes and twine and corral them up a bit. We are hoping this newly sunnier spot makes for happier raspberry bushes than what used to be our sunniest spot.

We've removed the old furnace and are slowly clearing out the space (dead vermin disposed of and all) to make a space for crafting supply storage. Currently my craft boxes are in a huge and ugly cupboard taking up a great deal of space in the great room. Plans are afoot.

Slowly patching up and repairing the ceiling where the old kitchen light fixture used to be. I'm dreading standing on the island to sand, repaint, and clean up from this next project.

Also, drywall buttons are a thing. And are pretty neat.

What are you working on? What are you excited about attempting? What are you proud to be working on? Take a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link or a few words in the comments.
